Milk Cartons That Help Build Churches
Actually, milk cartons and cereal boxes are routinely discarded on the edges of Philippene villages. A group of 10 village women and minister wives, collect the trash and turn it into treasures. These colorful stretchy bracelets are colorful adornments that help build churches in the villages. Proceeds are first used to give the women a sustainable income, then the remaining profit is put into a fund to build their churches. The cardboard is cut and rolled into beautiful recycled beads, then strung on elastic string with beads and/or shells to create these one-of-a-kind bracelets. One size fits most.
